Riverina Regional Library is one of Australia’s largest regional library alliances, supporting 11 member councils, 21 branches, a modern mobile library and communities across a substantial geographic area. Following organisational change, the members needed an independent view of value for money, operational effectiveness and the service model required for the next phase.
RHCS reviewed governance, financial performance, service operations, logistics, collections, technology and the experience of member councils and branch staff. The review confirmed the continuing value of the alliance while identifying how it could operate as a more collaborative professional-support partner.
