Mornington Peninsula Shire provides library services through four branches, the Sorrento hub, Our Library Van, outreach, home delivery and a growing digital offer. The Shire commissioned a whole-of-service review to test sustainability and clarify the best future operating model for the Peninsula’s distinctive geography.
RHCS combined three years of performance benchmarking with demographic and geographic analysis, workforce and financial review, infrastructure assessment and extensive consultation. More than 600 community contributors, together with staff and stakeholders, helped shape the evidence base.
